Great to see the Squadron is still going strong. Well done everyone! I remember when we added "& de Havilland" to the name.
See http://www.friendsreunited.co.uk/album.page/album?albumKey=7175&albumType=3&member_key=0&mediaKey=16899700&commentPage=0&isdefault=0 for a picture of some of the old lags!
Best regards

I used to be a cadet when it was behind the trades and labour club if you remember send me an email. I have now gone back there as a CI and I am glad I did because it's good being part of a team and passing on the knowledge. So good luck fellow 2203 members.

Ex F/SGT Bean here, had a fab time when I was in the Sqn. Must of had a good impact on me because I have been in the real RAF for 12 years now.

How delighted I was to come across your website whilst Googling information about Mosquito aircraft. I was a cadet in 2203 squadron for a very happy and rewarding couple of years in the early 1970's.
I cherish my time with the squadron, and am proud of my achievements, which include an 'RAF Marksman' award (6" Grouping over 200 yards with a Lee Enfield .303 I believe! I had the bruising on my cheekbone for weeks afterwards) and a recruitment cup. I still have a photo of me in uniform after the award ceremony. I wonder if anyone from my time with 2203 is still involved?
Happy days with many fond memories: Bisley, USAF Alconbury (I got to sit in a Phantom!!) , flying a Chipmunk, piloting a glider who's name escapes me though I think it began with 'G', and many more. I'm so glad that you're continuing your work with young kids- and am I right in remembering we had a Vampire parked outside the old hut near where Asda is now?
Kind regards
Andy

I remember the squadron when i was a lad, and Flight Lieutenant Frank Liney was a cadet himself. Our old Officer in Comand passed away sadly.
However good luck to all you young cadets, good luck in whatever you decide to do.
Flight Lieutenant Liney, I remember the car incident one evening - the mighty Skoda.
